The adventure

They were looking for Bigfoot.

Josh and Matthew are two friends who have an unfortunate habit of finding the extraordinary hiding inside perfectly ordinary days.

Josh is endlessly fascinated by conspiracies, unexplained phenomena, government secrets, UFOs, cryptids, and anything that might prove the world is stranger than it looks.

Matthew is usually the more skeptical one.

Usually.

This time, they're looking for Bigfoot.

Deep in the woods, Josh and Matthew finally spot the legendary creature. But their discovery turns out to be only the beginning.

Before long, a Bigfoot hunt becomes something considerably stranger: an outrageous alien dance party filled with UFOs, extraterrestrials, Broadzilla, Bigfoot, and some extremely unexpected dance moves.

The story behind the story

Behind the Scenes

This project became a learning experience as much as a movie.

While creating it, I experimented with different AI video tools, character references, prompts, animation techniques, and approaches to maintaining consistency from shot to shot.

That progress is actually visible in the finished film.

When the mirrored disco ball appears, the production reaches a turning point. From there, the animation, character consistency, and overall quality improve noticeably as the techniques developed during production began to click into place.

Rather than rebuild the earlier scenes, I decided to leave them as they were.

They became part of the story behind the story: a record of the creative process and how much I learned while making it.

It's not perfect, and that's part of what makes it special.

It was an ambitious experiment, a ridiculous adventure, and a lot of fun to create.
